Each year Blue Dog Rescue works with a local artist to produce a piece for the Round Rock Chalk Walk that raises awareness for the non-profit and its services. The Chalk Walk is an annual competition that touts several hundred competitors and attracts around 100,000 attendees each year. I served as Blue Dog's featured artist for two years and created 10X10 foot dog portraits. Each year, I worked closely with the board to ensure that their message was incorporated into the design. My work won Best Animal in 2016 and Second Place Overall in 2017.
